Discussion on the connotation of five tones of five elemental constitutions in Traditional Chinese Medicine
“The book "Ling Shu: Yin Yang Twenty Five People" describes the sound characteristics of the Five Elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine using the five tones "Jiao, Zheng, Gong, Shang, Yu", which is an important means of identifying the Five Elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine. However, different medical practitioners hold different views. In the context of the theory of the Five Elements in traditional Chinese medicine, it is necessary to explore how to define the connotation of the five tones and standardize and quantify subjective auditory perception in a relatively objective way. This article is based on ancient literature and combined with analogical thinking to summarize and generalize the connotations of the five tones of traditional Chinese medicine. Among them, it summarizes that the tone of the wooden pedestrian is soft and vigorous like the sound of hitting wood, the tone of the fire pedestrian is scorching and bright like the sound of fire, the tone of the earth pedestrian is warm and mellow like the sound of hitting a jar, the tone of the metal pedestrian is strong and clear like the sound of hitting gold and stone, and the tone of the water pedestrian is deep and delicate like the sound of gurgling water. And combined with 607 healthy individuals' speech samples, a preliminary exploration was conducted on the speech characteristics of the Five Elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine. At the same time, summarize the clinical application of the Five Sounds of the Five Elements in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the levels of form and spirit. This article provides a foundation for the standardization and objectivity of the phonetic characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, and also provides a basis for the clinical application of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners. #Rewriting # introduces the research progress of the theory of the Five Elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and relevant experts explore the definition and objectification of the connotation of the Five Elements, providing a basis for the standardization and clinical application of the phonetic characteristics of the Five Elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine.”
