摘要:Objective To sum up and study the distribution characteristics and development laws of TCM syndrome in the patients with type 2 diabetes accompanied by metabolic syndrome. Methods The patients accorded with the diagnostic standard of type 2 diabetes accompanied by metabolic syndrome (n=295) were chosen and given the syndrome differentiation according to the criteria of syndrome differentiation established by the Expert Committee of Diabetes Mellitus of China Association of Chinese Medicine. The clinical symptoms, signs and syndrome distribution in different processes of diabetes were analysed and compared statistically. Results Most of patients had the symptoms and signs of obesity, darkness in lips and tongue, heaviness of head and body, slippery and rapid pulse. The most common syndromes were dampness-heat syndrome and blood-stasis syndrome. The patients with the process of diabetes less than 5 years had mostly dampness-heat syndrome, blood-stasis syndrome and syndrome of heat accumulation in stomach and intestines, those with the process of diabetes for 5 to 10 years had the syndromes of pathogen excess and healthy qi deficiency at the same time, and those with the process of diabetes for more than 10 years had the syndrome of healthy qi deficiency mainly. Conclusion The patients with type 2 diabetes accompanied by metabolic syndrome have the syndrome of pathogen excess mainly at early stage, and then will have syndrome of deficiency complicated with excessiveness along with the development of diabetes. The syndrome of pathogen excess includes qi stagnation, blood stasis, dampness turbid and heat accumulation, among which the most common syndromes are dampness turbid and blood stasis.
摘要:Objective To investigate the relationship between TCM syndrome elements and relevant factors of senile depression. Methods The materials collected by TCM four diagnosis methods from 100 patients (over 60 year-old) with depression for the first time were reviewed by applying self-made "Observation Table of TCM Syndromes of Senile Depression", Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) and Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA). Results The TCM syndrome elements of senile depression included mostly blood deficiency, qi stagnation and qi deficiency, and the combination of these three elements was the most common in the combinations of syndrome elements. Conclusion The pathogenesis of senile depression is complicated characterized by deficiency of the root and excess of the tip. The deficiency syndromes are mainly syndrome of dual deficiency of qi and blood accompanied by marrow loss, and the excess syndromes are mainly qi stagnation syndrome and blood stasis syndrome. The locations of the disease are commonly in the liver, spleen and kidney by syndrome differentiation, and the syndrome types are mostly liver depression and spleen deficiency, and liver depression and kidney deficiency.

摘要:Objective To study the TCM syndrome characteristics of hypoproteinemia induced by hepatitis cirrhosis and curative effect of Chinese medicine. Method The syndrome differentiation and classification was given to 69 patients. The TCM syndrome characteristics in these patients were calculated and analysed. All patients were randomly divided into 3 groups according to the method of random number table. Group 1 (treatment group 1, n=22) was treated with Fubai Formula after basic treatment for 12 weeks, group 2 (treatment group 2, n=23) was treated with Fubai Formula after basic treatment for 24 weeks, and group 3 (control group, n=24) was treated with basic treatment only. The changes of TCM syndromes and serum albumin were observed respectively after the treatment for 12 or 24 weeks. Result The most common syndromes included spleen-stomach weakness syndrome, qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome, and liver-kidney yin deficiency, and common ones included the syndrome of spleen deficiency and exuberant dampness. The least one was spleen-kidney yang deficiency syndrome. A patient might have multiple syndromes at the same time, especially spleen-stomach weakness syndrome combined with the syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis or liver-kidney yin deficiency. After the treatment with Fubai Formula the content of serum albumin, symptoms and signs were improved or relieved in the patients. Conclusion The TCM characteristics of hypoproteinemia induced by hepatitis cirrhosis is spleen deficiency with insufficiency of kidney essence as the root and the obstruction of phlegm, stasis and toxin in collaterals as the tip. Fubai Formula can relieve the symptoms and improve the content of serum albumin, and its midterm and long-term effect is more significant.
摘要:Objective To observe the curative effect of Yiqihuoxueyunpi Formula on pediatric recurrent respiratory tract infection (RRTI). Method The cases accorded with the diagnostic standard (n=61) were chosen and divided randomly into the treatment group (n=31) treated with Yunpihuoxue Formula, and control group (n=30) treated with Yupingfeng Granules. The changes of some detective indexes were analysed including TCM syndrome integrals, hemoglobin, immunoglobulin and microelements. Result The comparison of total curative effect between two groups showed that the total effective rate was 96.77% in the treatment group and 76.67% in the control group. The curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Yiqihuoxueyunpi Formula can strengthen the immunity of the child patients, reduce the frequency of RRTI, shorten the disease course and relieve the symptoms.

摘要:Objective To observe the curative effect of Xuanhuanghuoluo Plaster combined with electromagnetic wave on acute sports injury of soft tissue. Method The patients (n =90) were randomly divided into the treatment group (n =45) treated with Xuanhuanghuoluo Plaster combined with electromagnetic wave externally and the control group (n=45) treated with Safflower Oil externally. One treatment course was 7 days. Result In the treatment group there were 32 cases with obvious effect, 12 with effect and 1 without effect, and the total effective rate was 97.78%. In the control group there were 21 cases with obvious effect, 9 with effect and 5 without effect, and the total effective rate was 88.89%. The therapeutic outcome of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Xuanhuanghuoluo Plaster combined with electromagnetic wave can improve the absorption of haemostasis and local blood circulation, and relieve the symptoms of acute sports injury of soft tissue.

摘要:Objective To observe the curative effect of complex therapy of TCM application method on idiopathic facial palsy. Methods The patients diagnosed as idiopathic facial palsy for the first time were randomly divided into two groups based on random control study. The treatment group (n=30) were treated with TCM application method and basic treatment, and the control group (n= 30) was treated with prednisone and basic treatment. The basic treatment included various Vitamins, acupuncture and physical therapy. Results The result of the comparison between two groups showed that there was no statistical different in the total effective rate, and also no significant different in recovery time. Conclusion TCM application method has a satisfactory curative effect on idiopathic facial palsy with a higher safety.
