摘要:Tic disorder (TD) is a neurodevelopmental disease that starts in childhood and mainly presents with tic symptoms. Its clinical manifestations are diverse and can be accompanied by a variety of comorbidities, which increase the complexity and severity of the disease. Under the guidance of the overall thought of traditional Chinese medicine, the core pathogenesis of spleen deficiency and liver hyperactivity is emphasized, and the particularity of comorbidities can be considered on the basis of overall syndrome differentiation. Spleen deficiency and liver hyperactivity often influences the lung, with qi stagnation changes, and is prone to tic and hyperactivity in clinic. Spleen deficiency and liver hyperactivity influences the heart, and has fire evil internal disturbance, which is prone to tic and anxiety in clinic. Spleen deficiency and liver hyperactivity influences the kidney, phlegm is endogenous, and is prone to tic and depression. This paper aims to provide new ideas for the diagnosis and treatment of tic disorder and its comorbidities, simplify the diagnosis and treatment thinking, and improve the understanding of TD and related comorbidities among clinicians.

摘要:Tic disorders (TD) is a kind of neurodevelopmental disorders that starts in childhood and adolescence, with an increasing incidence year by year. It seriously damages children’s cognitive function and behavioral development, has a great impact on children’s physical and mental health, and has aroused widespread concern from all walks of life. Tic disorders as a dominant disease of Chinese medicine, has a variety of treatment method. Acupuncture therapy, as one of the external treatment method in traditional Chinese medicine, has the advantages of safety, effectiveness, and minimal side effects, making it a commonly used external treatment for Tic disorders. Acupuncture therapy can be used to treat tic disorders by needling the ear, head, trunk, and other parts, utilizing the principles of meridians and combining disease and syndrome differentiation to develop treatment plans. However, there is currently a lack of unified standards for acupuncture treatment of tic disorders. This article starts from the characteristics of tic disorders, reviews high-quality clinical research literature, and proposes diagnosis and treatment suggestions for acupuncture treatment of tic disorders from the aspects of meridian selection of acupoints, method selection, treatment time, and combination of acupuncture and medicine.

摘要:ObjectiveTo investigate the distribution and clinical characteristics of TCM pattern elements in Tourette syndrome.MethodsAccording to the diagnostic criteria, the cases were divided into two groups: the common TS Group and the refractory TD Group. To compare and analyze the clinical related factors by using chi-square test, to study and analyze the TCM pattern elements of the nature and location of the disease and the grade distribution of the location of the refractory TD disease.ResultsThere were significant differences in age at onset, course of disease, mental stimulation, disease induction, no obvious inducement, lack of father’s education, family rearing pattern, parents’ anxiety about disease, type and time of taking medicine and comorbidity of ADHD between the two groups. The main symptoms of TCM pattern elements in the two groups were surface, liver, kidney, spleen and lung, and the difference was significant (P<0.05). The main symptoms of the disease were phlegm, hyperactivity of Yang, deficiency of blood, deficiency of Yin, wind, deficiency of Qi, heat and blood heat, and there were significant differences in Phlegm, hyperactivity of Yang, deficiency of Yin, deficiency of qi and blood heat (P<0.05), in the distribution of disease location, liver syndrome elements were mainly in Grade II (moderate lesion) and grade III (severe lesion) , while Yin deficiency syndrome elements were mainly in Grade II (moderate lesion) and grade III -LRB-severe lesion) , grade III (severe pathological changes) is the main type of wind-moving syndrome.ConclusionsThe age of onset, family rearing pattern, time of taking medicine, and comorbidity of ADHD are the risk factors of developing common TS into refractory TD. The syndrome elements of the two groups were mainly located in the liver, the common syndrome elements of TS disease were mainly wind-induced, and the refractory syndrome elements of TS disease were mainly yin-deficiency, which indicated that the nature of the disease changed from excess to deficiency with the development of the disease, and the grade distribution suggested that the liver was the focus of the disease, yin deficiency and wind phlegm is one of the main pathogenesis of the disease.

摘要:Tic disorders is a neuropsychiatric disorder, which is prone to recur and affect the quality of life. Vocal tic disorder is one of the types, which is mainly based on the syndrome differentiation of zang-fu viscera at present, but sometimes it is difficult to locate in a certain zang-fu viscera. The syndrome differentiation of triple energizer can make up for its limitation. The triple energizer dominates Qi, which is the main place of qi-transformation.The qi movement is the key to sound, so vocal tic disorder is closely related to triple energizer. This paper based on the traditional concept of "vertical triple energizer" and "horizontal triple energizer" , carries out the syndrome differentiation of 3D three-dimensional space from "vertical and horizontal triple energizer" theory, and combined with the function of triple energizer, applies the theory to the differentiation and treatment of vocal tic. This paper proposes that normal qi transformation of vertical and horizontal triple energizer is the basis for physiological vocalization. In the treatment, the upper-exterior energizer should disperse and relieve, the middle-interior energizer should transport and balance, the middle-half exterior and half interior energizer should conciliate and regulate, and the lower-interior energizer should tonify and descent. And a case attached.

摘要:The theory of Qi circulation takes the liver and lung as the wheel, the spleen and stomach as the pivot, and the heart and kidney as the axis, which is the dynamic embodiment of the human qi movement cycle of rising, falling, exiting and entering and ceaseless flow. Based on the theory of one qi flow, Professor Ma Rong’s team believes that the incidence of children’s tic disorder is closely related to the dysregulation of liver and lung, obstructing temper, and the insufficiency of water and fire of heart and kidney. The dysregulation of qi mechanism in the zang-fu organs leads to internal movement of atmosphere, and qi stagnation and wind movement are its core pathogenesis. Therefore, on this basis, based on regulating the exercise of qi. Xifengzhidong decoction was established, and according to the relationship between different symptoms and internal pathogenesis of twitch, the method of soothing the liver and releasing lungs, regulating the spleen and stomach and helping water and fire were respectively used to restore the circulation of Qi, to achieve the effect of regulating Qi and relieving depression and stopping the movement of wind.

摘要:Persistent postural-perceptual dizziness (PPPD) is a prevalent chronic functional dizziness observed in clinical practice. It is primarily characterized by persistent dizziness, instability, or non-rotational vertigo, which exacerbates with upright posture, and during active or passive visual motion stimuli. PPPD’s core symptoms incorporate key aspects of chronic subjective dizziness and related conditions, often leading to frequent misdiagnosis or underdiagnosis by clinicians. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), PPPD is categorized under dizziness/vertigo. Drawing on the etiology, pathogenesis, TCM syndromes, and treatment strategies for dizziness/vertigo documented in ancient Chinese medical texts, PPPD’s clinical symptoms can be classified into three primary syndrome types. Over time, TCM practitioners have distilled PPPD treatment into five aspects and seven therapeutic principles, emphasizing a multifaceted and multi-level approach to managing the condition. Additionally, TCM doctors have recommended various herbal prescriptions tailored to different pathophysiological mechanisms of dizziness/vertigo, such as Sini Powder (Frigid Extremities Powder), Qiqi Decoction (Seven Qi Decoction), and Suanzaoren Decoction (Sour Jujube Decoction). These formulations offer valuable references for clinicians employing TCM in the treatment of PPPD.

摘要:Zhizichi Decoction (Gardenia and Prepared Soybean Decoction) is a classic formula for treating heat stagnation in chest and diaphragm. This prescription is characterized by its limited number of ingredients but potent effects, primarily used for the treatment of pathogenic heat stagnating in the chest and diaphragm, manifesting as chest and epigastric stuffiness and fullness, restlessness, and disturbance. The lungs are located within the chest and above the diaphragm; hence, pathogenic heat stagnation in these areas inevitably affects the physiological and pathological aspects of the lungs. Pulmonary diseases are also prone to present with symptoms of chest and diaphragm heat stagnation, exhibiting frequently indications for the use of Zhizichi Decoction. There are five formulas derived from the original one, each with its unique characteristics based on the original syndrome. Moreover, many pulmonary diseases have a prolonged course and complex conditions involving multiple meridian disorders, accompanied by various pathological products such as phlegm, retained fluids, and dampness. Therefore, in clinical practice, symptoms indictive for Zhizichi Decoction often present as concurrent symptoms in patients. For such diseases, it is common to combine Zhizichi Decoction-based formulas with other prescriptions for treatment, achieving effective result.

摘要:Chronic urticaria is a common recurrent allergic disease in dermatology, some patients with chronic urticaria show more symptoms that occur or worsen at night, which seriously affects patients’ sleep and reduces their quality of life. By analyzing and summarizing the characteristics of nighttime onset, the author believes that the core pathogenesis of this rule is related to the wind pathogen entering to turn into heat, lying in the Yin, and being triggered by the Wei Yang at night. Based on the method of "distilling heat and nourishing Yin" established by Wu Tang in the Qing Dynasty, this paper proposes that staging treatment of "clearing-through-nourishing" method: raw Rehmannia radix, anemarrhizae anemarrhizae and peony peel should be used to clear away heat, artemisia annua and Bionychia sinensis should be used to clear away pathogens, ejiao, Wumei and Schisandrae fructus should be used to nourish Yin and nourish blood, and Yupingfeng powder should be used to dissipate Yin and nourish blood, so as to provide new ideas for the differentiation and treatment of chronic urticaria at night.

摘要:According to traditional Chinese medicine, postsurgical gastroparesis syndrome(PGS) after malignant tumor surgery falls under the categories of piman(abdominal lumps and fullness) and outu(vomiting). It is mostly caused by deficiency of spleen and stomach yang and impaired qi movement. Malignant tumors, surgical procedures, drug treatments, and inadequate postoperative nutritional support can induce or exacerbate PGS. The concept that "yang transforms into qi and yin constitutes form" originates from the Huang Di Nei Jing(The Yellow Emperor’s Inner Classic). The body’s normal physiological function relies on the relative balance between yang transforming into qi and yin constituting form. Insufficient yang qi leads to abnormal ascension and descension of qi, blood, and body fluids, resulting in the accumulation of pathological products like blood stasis, phlegm turbidity, and cold dampness in the gastrointestinal tract—this signifies an excess of yin constituting form, leading to PGS. Therefore, the treatment for PGS should involve warming yang qi to address the root cause, supplemented by measures to remove phlegm, eliminate dampness, soften firmness, relieve constipation, tonify deficiency, drain excess, expel pathogens, and support normal qi. This comprehensive approach aims to improve treatment efficacy and enhance patient recovery.

摘要:Perimenopausal rheumatoid arthritis(RA) is a refractory disease with complex pathogenesis and prolonged recovery. It can be classified within the scope of bi syndrome(impediment syndrome) in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM). Historically, medical experts have mainly focused on treating liver and kidney yin deficiency and regulating qi and blood, while overlooking the important role of yang qi. This article elaborates on the close relationship between yang qi and bi syndrome. It proposes that the depletion of tiangui(the essence of the kidney) and yang deficiency leading to water-cold syndrome are important pathological bases for the onset of perimenopausal RA patients. This condition can evolve into a complex pathogenesis involving the loss of wei qi’s ability to protect the body, the loss of warmth around Zhongwan(CV12), liver yang deficiency, transformation of stagnant liver qi into heat, and the complicated interaction of phlegm and stasis generating cold and heat. Therefore, treatment should focus on warming and tonifying kidney yang, promoting liver yang circulation, and clearing stagnant heat to achieve the effect of "reinforcing yang to relieve impediment" . Clinically, modified Wumei Pills(Mume Pill) can be effective by warming the kidneys, restoring the free action of the liver, dispelling stasis, and opening collaterals, with the aim of achieving satisfactory clinical result.

摘要:Multiple system atrophy is a chronic and sporadic neurodegenerative disease. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) considers its core pathogenesis to be rooted in deficiency of the liver, spleen, and kidney, with qi, blood, and fluid transportation and transformation imbalance as secondary characteristics. Clinical approaches often focus on treating liver and kidney deficiency, spleen and kidney deficiency, and the mutual obstruction of phlegm and blood stasis. Kidney deficiency and blood stasis are central pathogenic factors in multiple system atrophy. Kidney deficiency persists throughout the disease course and is crucial for treatment. Chronic progression of the disease involves blood stasis as both a pathological manifestation and a causative factor. As a chronic progressive disease, multiple system atrophy consistently presents patterns of deficiency and excess. Clinical treatment strategies emphasize addressing both symptoms and underlying causes, specifically through kidney supplementation and blood circulation promotion. Liuwei Dihuang Decoction (Six Ingredients Rehmannia Decoction) strengthens the kidneys and consolidates the foundation, while Siwu Decoction (Four Substances Decoction) promotes blood circulation and dispels stasis, effectively improving language and limb functions in multiple system atrophy patients. This paper discusses treating multiple system atrophy through the lens of kidney deficiency and blood stasis, supported by clinical cases.

摘要:Adenoid hypertrophy is a common pediatric otolaryngological condition. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, adenoid hypertrophy is often caused by the combination of internal and external pathogenic factors, characterized by deficiency at the root and manifestations at the standard. This pathogenesis is closely related to the theory of "collateral deficiency and pathogen stagnation" . Collateral stasis affects the circulation of qi, blood, and body fluids, eventually leading to the depletion and decline of collaterals. The theory shows the pathological progression of collateral vessel changes. The etiology and pathogenesis of adenoid hypertrophy include deficiency of lung and spleen, decline of collaterals, which are the root causes, combined internal and external causes, and obstruction of collaterals by phlegm and stasis as the branch. Clinical treatment involves nourishing and dredging techniques (such as resolving phlegm, dispersing stasis, and dredging collaterals with aromatic herbs).

摘要:The renowned pediatrician Qian Yi, often hailed as the founder of TCM pediatrics, provides a comprehensive and systematic analysis of pediatric panting syndrome in his seminal work Xiao Er Yao Zheng Zhi Jue (Key to Diagnosis and Treatment of Children’s Diseases). Qian asserts that the lung plays a central role in panting syndrome, stating that "the lung governs panting" . According to him, panting’s primary locus is the lung, but it is intricately linked to the spleen, and the fundamental pathogenesis involves the lung’s failure to properly conduct its descending and clearing functions. Panting is categorized into deficiency and excess types, with the therapeutic approach of reducing the excess and tonifying the deficiency. The text details specific asthma syndromes: wind-cold panting, lung-heat panting, phlegm-heat panting, qi-deficiency panting, and yin-deficiency panting. Corresponding treatments include the use of Mahuang Decoction (Ephedra Decoction) for the wind-cold type, Xiebai Powder (White-Draining Powder) for lung-heat, Tingli Pill (Lepidium/Descurainiae Pill) for phlegm-heat, Renshen Shengxi Powder (Gingsen and Rhinoceros Powder) for qi-deficiency, and Ejiao Powder (Donkey-Hide Gelatin Powder) for yin-deficiency. The insights provided in the book offer valuable guidance for contemporary clinical practice in pediatric panting.

摘要:Fluorouracil chemotherapy is widely used in the treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies, characterized by its strong dispersing and heat-fever-inducing properties in TCM terms, which consume qi and damage body fluids. Patients with gastrointestinal tumors often exhibit a weak spleen and stomach due to the invasion of cancerous toxins and the depletion caused by chemotherapy drugs. Consequently, oral ulcers frequently occur following fluorouracil chemotherapy. Treatment should focus on addressing underlying deficiencies and nurturing the earth element. External treatment involves applying a honey-based paste mixed with powdered herbs, such as Haipiaoxiao (Endoconcha Sepiae), Baiji (Rhizoma Bletillae), Jineijing (Endothelium Corneum Gigeriae Galli), and Shanyao (Rhizoma Dioscoreae), to the affected areas to nourish the earth and heal the ulcer. Internally, the treatment utilizes Buzhong Yiqi Decoction (Center-Supplementing and Qi-Boosting Decoction) to invigorate the spleen and stomach, tonify qi, regulate qi movement, and dispel pathogenic heat. This paper discusses the treatment of chemotherapy-induced oral ulcers in gastrointestinal tumors based on the theory of nourishing earth, supported by clinical cases.

摘要:Postpartum paralysis is a common gynecological condition characterized in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) as "postpartum joint pain" and "postpartum body pain" . Yang qi, essential for maintaining the balance of yin and yang in the body, is often deficient in women, affecting their health. Clinical treatment emphasizes the protection and enhancement of yang qi, with the warming yang method widely employed in gynecological practice and other areas of TCM. The primary pathogenesis of postpartum paralysis involves impairment of yang qi, including factors such as wind-cold obstruction leading to yang damage, deficiency of qi and blood affecting wei yang stability, and deficiencies in spleen and kidney yang resulting in failed warming functions. Prolonged illness exacerbates yang deficiency and blood stasis, further leading to spiritual fatigue and emotional disturbances. Treatment strategies for postpartum paralysis include dispelling wind and cold, warming yang to alleviate pain; boosting qi and warming yang, promoting blood circulation to relieve paralysis; tonifying spleen and kidney to clear channels and relieve paralysis; replenishing yang deficiency to promote blood circulation and dispel stasis; and invigorating yang and promoting qi to relieve depression and soothe the spirit. Clinical cases are presented to elucidate the application of the warming yang method in treating postpartum paralysis.

摘要:Herbal trios are a compatibility method that combines three TCM herbal ingredients to achieve synergistic effect for a certain etiology, pathogenesis and symptoms. Chronic aplastic anemia is a refractory hematological disease. TCM believes that its basic pathogenesis is deficiency of healthy qi, blood stasis and toxin accumulation. This paper summarizes the clinical experience in the treatment of chronic aplastic anemia with herbal trios and explains their compatibility characteristics: Shenghuangqi (Radix Astragali)-Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis)-Pugongying (Herba Taraxaci) tonify qi, harmonize blood and remove toxins. Renshen (Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng)-Fuling (Poria)-Baizhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae) invigorate the spleen, tonify qi and drain dampness. Shudihuang (Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata)-Tusizi (Semen Cuscutae)-Cheqianzi (Semen Plantaginis) tonify the kidney to fill the essence and improve vision. Chaihu (Radix Bupleuri)-Shengma (Rhizoma Cimicifugae)-Gegen (Radix Puerariae Lobatae) ascend yang and purge fire. Xianhecao (Herba Agrimoniae)-Qiancao (Radix et Rhizoma Rubiae)-Zicao (Radix Arnebiae) tonify deficiency, cool blood, stop bleeding. Danshen (Radix et Rhizoma Salviae Miltiorrhizae)-Honghua (Flos Carthami)-Tubiechong (Eupolyphaga seu Steleophaga) resolve blood stasis, unblock collaterals. Sanleng (Rhizoma Sparganii)-Ezhu (Rhizoma Curcumae)-Jineijin (Endothelium Corneum Gigeriae Galli) resolve blood stasis, resolve mass. Jiaoshenqu (Massa Medicata Fermentata)-Chaoshanzha (Fructus Crataegi)-Shengmaiya (Fructus Hordei Germinatus) improve digestion, recuperate the weakness of the spleen and the stomach.

摘要:Adenoid hypertrophy is characterized by lymphoid tissue hyperplasia at the junction of the nasopharynx’s roof and posterior wall. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), it is categorized under tanhe (phlegm core) and hanmian (snoring during sleep), and TCM treatment has shown significant clinical efficacy in managing adenoid hypertrophy. Children have delicate lungs, prone to difficulty in regulation and injury; thin and weak spleens make them susceptible to injury from milk diet. Additionally, incomplete kidney nourishment and the immature state of tiangui lead to insufficient "yang transforms into qi" resulting in inadequate function of the lungs, spleen, and kidneys. Over time, this leads to the formation of pathological products such as phlegm, dampness, accumulation of fluids, stasis, and stagnation, where tangible pathogens cannot transform, thus resulting in excessive "yin constitutes form" . The etiology and pathogenesis of adenoid hypertrophy in children lie in insufficient "yang transforms into qi" as the root cause and excessive "yin constitutes form" as the manifestation. Treatment focuses on strengthening and protecting the vital energy, regulating the internal organs to address the root cause, and adjusting treatment according to specific symptoms. This paper elaborates on the differentiation and treatment of adenoid hypertrophy in children based on the theory of "yang transforms into qi, while yin constitutes form" .

摘要:The concept of xulao (consumptive diseases) outlined in the Jingui Yaolue (Essentials from the Golden Cabinet) encapsulates a spectrum of intricate chronic deficiency ailments, where Guizhi Decoction (Cinnamon Twig Decoction) plays an pivotal role in their treatment. The myriad manifestations of consumptive diseases share a commonality of deficiency and damage, yet exhibit distinct characteristics in the pathogenesis. Although various prescriptions are tailored to diverse pathogenesis, they all trace their roots back to Guizhi Decoction and retaining a unified structural basis. The precursor state of imbalance in consumptive diseases signifies a vulnerability due to disharmony between ying qi and wei qi. Proactive intervention with Guizhi Decoction in the early stages can forestall the progression of the ailment. The imbalance and deficiency damage state of consumptive diseases marks a state of imbalance or mild deficiency between qi and blood, warranting treatments like Guizhi Jia Longgu Muli Decoction (Cinnamon Twig Decoction Plus Os Draconis and Oyster Shell), Xiao Jianzhong Decoction (Minor Center-Fortifying Decoction) and Huangqi Jianzhong Decoction (Astragalus Center-Fortifying Decoction). The state of yang qi deficiency in consumptive diseases may arise from the prolonged separation of yin qi and yang qi, causing the dissipation of yang qi. Another possibility is that the continuous consumption of yang qi leads to a depletion. These can be addressed through remedies such as Tianxiong Powder (Aconite Root Powder), Shenqi Pill (Kidney Qi Pill), and Shuyu Pill (Dioscoreae Root Pill). The conditions marked by yin qi and blood deficiency of consumptive diseases stem from weakness leading to blood stasis, which can be treated with Suanzaoren Decoction (Sour Jujube Decoction) and Dahuang Zhechong Pill (Rhubarb and Ground Beetle Pill). The critical state of concurrent yin qi and yang qi deficiency in consumptive diseases is a severe stage and the use of Zhigancao Decoction (Honey-Fried Licorice Decoction) to supplement both yin qi and yang qi simultaneously proves beneficial. Tailoring treatments for the different levels of pathogenesis of consumptive disease emphasizes the integration of tonification and unblocking. This involves utilizing techniques such as dredging ying qi and wei qi, promoting yang qi circulation, nourishing yin qi and blood, and harmonizing yin qi and yang qi.

摘要:Simple obesity has a high incidence in China and is closely associated with the onset of various diseases. Traditional Chinese Medicine offers unique advantages in treating simple obesity from the perspective of the spleen and stomach. Research indicates that the gut-brain axis is involved in the pathogenesis of obesity, influencing its development through regulation of appetite, participation in exercise regulation, and emotional control. This paper, based on the theory of the gut-brain axis, discusses the rationale and connection of treating simple obesity from the perspective of the spleen and stomach, the relationship between the gut-brain axis and obesity, and the interrelation between the gut-brain axis and the spleen and stomach. It aims to provide new insights for the treatment of simple obesity and serve as a reference for clinical practice.

摘要:ObjectiveThis study aims to explore the medication patterns in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke by analyzing the medical records and empirical prescriptions from traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) experts using a complex network analysis method.MethodsDatabases including the CNKI, Wanfang Data, and VIP were searched to compile a database of prescriptions for acute ischemic stroke. Data were extracted and analyzed using Python for statistical analysis, and Cytoscape was used for complex network analysis.ResultsA total of 70 articles reporting expert medical cases and empirical prescriptions were selected, which included 138 prescriptions and 311 types of TCM herbal ingredients, with a cumulative usage frequency of 1561 times. The study identified 19 categories of drugs used in these treatments, including herbs for relieving exterior, heat-clearing, tonifying deficiency, blood-activating and stasis-removing, liver-calming and wind-extinguishing, and qi-regulating. The most frequently used were herbs for activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis, which appeared 312 times. The analysis also identified eight syndromes, totaling 96 occurrences, with qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome and phlegm heat and bowel excess syndrome being the most common, each appearing 21 times (21.87%). Five herbs were used with a frequency of 50 or more, with the top three being Taoren (Semen Persicae, 61 times, 3.80%), Niuxi (Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae, 57 times, 3.65%), and Honghua (Safflower, 56 times, 3.58%). Complex network analysis revealed that the core formulae consist of Huangqi (Radix Astragali), Chishao (Radix Paeoniae Rubra), Chuanxiong (Rhizoma Chuanxiong), Honghua, Taoren, Danshen (Radix et Rhizoma Salviae Miltiorrhizae), Shuizhi (Hirudo), Dannanxing (Arisaema cum Bile), Fuling (Poria), Dilong (Pheretima), Tianma (Rhizoma Gastrodiae), Shichangpu(Rhizoma Acori Tatarinowii), and Dahuang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei).ConclusionThe study concludes that the key to treating acute ischemic stroke according to National TCM Masters and encephalopathy experts is to focus on strengthening qi to eliminate pathogenic factors.

摘要:ObjectiveTo explore the characteristics of resting brain network in kidney deficiency patients with high white matter hyperintensities (WMH).MethodsClinical and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) data were collected from patients with WMH and healthy subjects. We analyzed and compared the differences of brain function between the two groups by using regional homogeneity (ReHo). Patients with WMH were divided into kidney deficiency group and non-kidney deficiency group, and independent component analysis (ICA) was used to explore the characteristics of brain network.ResultsCompared with the healthy group, the ReHo value of the WMH groups decreased significantly in the right precuneus and right supplementary motor area, and increased significantly in the right temporal lobe. The ReHo value of the temporal lobe was positively correlated with HAMD score. ICA analysis showed that the connection between the default mode network and the frontoparietal network in the kidney deficiency group was stronger, while the connection to the auditory network and visual network was weaker in the kidney deficiency group.ConclusionThe abnormal functional connections of emotional and cognitive brain regions in patients with WMH kidney deficiency syndrome can provide objective reference for the prevention and treatment of these diseases.

摘要:Swallowing difficulties are common and challenging symptoms in rheumatic immune diseases, which is critical factors affecting patients’ quality of life and disease prognosis. Conventional approaches to treatment have proven inadequate.Professor Jiang Quan, through extensive clinical practice, has identified that the "impediment diseases must be accompanied with blood stasis" , suggesting that the core pathogenesis of autoimmune swallowing disorders in rheumatic immune disease lies in qi stagnation and blood stasis. The focus of treatment should be on regulating the yin-yang pivot of the throat, promoting blood circulation and eliminating blood stasis. However, given the complexity of rheumatic immune diseases, which often present with a variety of persistent and recurrent symptoms, It is crucial to adopt a holistic view of traditional Chinese medicine, and the combiningdisease diagnosis with syndrome differentiation, and addressing concurrent conditions. The Huiyan Zhuyu Decoction (Epiglottis Stasis Expelling Decoction) is used for treating autoimmune swallowing disorders, while concurrently reinforcing the spleen and qi, warming the meridians to dispel cold, eliminating dampness and purging turbidity, and resolving phlegm and dissolving nodules.

摘要:Female stress urinary incontinence refers to the involuntary leakage of urine from the urethral orifice in the case of sudden increase in abdominal pressure. In recent years, the incidence has increased. Professor Zhang believes that the main pathogenesis of female stress urinary incontinence is the deficiency of viscera and the deficiency of spleen and kidney qi.The treatment is based on invigorating the spleen and tonifying the kidney. Tonifying spleen and kidney to treat the root cause, and reducing enuresis to treat symptoms. On the basis of Buzhong Yiqi decoction and Tusizi pill, the "Zhiyi No. I formula" was invented and modified. The formula was flexibly formulated by soothing the liver and regulating qi, resolving phlegm and removing blood stasis.at the same time, functional exercise and psychological counseling were emphasized. Combined with clinical cases, Professor Zhang’s experience in the treatment of female stress urinary incontinence based on spleen kidney concordance was introduced.

摘要:Professor Zhao Bingnan is an outstanding expert in TCM external medicine, and his academic ideas have a profound impact and guiding value on various fields within surgery. This article summarizes the application of Professor Zhao’s academic ideas in the treatment of breast diseases. His approach includes the method of reconciling yin and yang for treating difficult and complex surgical conditions and the establishment of the formula known as Siteng Combination(Four Vine Combination), which communicates internal and external factors and harmonizes yin and yang coherently. Professor Zhao’s signature external treatment features include his self-created Heibu Ointment(Black Cloth Oitment), the inheritance and development of external treatment formulations, and the treatment of sinus tracts using internally wrapped medicine. His innovations in external treatment theory are significant, such as the first proposal that bloodletting therapy can be used for yin syndrome and the "slow support method" , which involves half clearing and half supporting or half nourishing and half supporting, proposed for complex diseases. Professor Zhao places great importance on the spleen and stomach and has unique perspectives on dietary preferences and restrictions. This article aims to summarize his experiences to improve understanding and practices among colleagues in the field.
