ObjectiveTo provide a standardized summary of the preparation and clinical operation processes of Jiazi Tidu (No. 1 Toxin-Extracting) Medicinal Gauze Twist and determine its optimal indications.MethodsRelevant information was gathered through database searches and expert interviews, including newspapers, magazines, journal articles, medical texts, annals, and obtained dictations, image data, and manuscript materials.ResultsA comprehensive database of Jiazi Tidu Medicinal Gauze Twist was established. The standardized applications were summarized as follows: Jiazi Tidu Medicinal Gauze Twist relieves necrotic tissue and removes toxins, promotes tissue regeneration, facilitates wound healing, and alleviates pain. Its indications include small or deep ulcers with inadequate drainage, sinus tracts or fistulas with necrotic tissue and delayed healing. The preparation process, clinical operation procedure, treatment duration, and precautions were standardized.ConclusionJiazi Tidu Medicinal Gauze Twist effectively relieves necrotic tissue and removes toxins, promotes tissue regeneration, facilitates wound healing, and alleviates pain. It is particularly suitable for managing various surgical conditions in the sinus stage.
