According to the experience on conducting randomized controlled trials （RCT） of needling

the authors summed up some key points and notes of methodologic issues in implementation of acupuncture RCT. There were 6 aspects that were should be paid special attention to

including ①influence factors and control of variability in acupuncturists ’ manipulation process

②selection and implementation of placebo-acupuncture control

③patient compliance

④evaluation on safety of needling

⑤personal arrangement

and ⑥clinical monitoring. The quality of the implementation of acupuncture RCT is one of the decisive factors in the whole study

which should be concidered cautiously.
